At
an estimated $300 million, the 30-year old Del Amo Fashion Center Mall,
located at 3525 Carson Street in Torrance, California is getting a new
look. It has been completely revitalized to meet the demands of today's
modern consumers. As part of phase one at the mall, the Mills Corporation
has created a new two-story outdoor promenade. This new open-air lifestyle
wing at the mall with its mixture of endless amenities includes a new
AMC Del Amo 18 mov ie
theatre, new restaurants including a P.F. Chang's China Bistro, 35 new
stores and a Lucky Strike Lanes bowling alley. VNSM was retained and contracted
to perform the installation of the general sheet metal, the roof hatches,
the metal wall panels, the aluminum paneled canopies, an aluminum composite
paneled canopy, the mall's building expansion joints. VNSM also manufactured
and installed the custom made aluminum and acrylic light
troughs. VNSM's project management team successfully met and coordinated
the extensive submittal & design
process, deployment of VNSM's skilled labor forces and procurement and
delivery of all the various materials required to meet the aggressively
scheduled milestones of The Mills Corporation.
